The Cattails
I could finally see the cattails growing from the reeds.
Earlier in the fishing season we set up on the west side of the lake. So I had photos of the east side.
Now we are setting up on the east side of the pond. So these are photos of the west side.
The West Side

- The open spot with the gravel is the boat ramp.

We got there one evening just in time to catch this beautiful pink sunset.

Our Retired Life 
What a gorgeous place. I love the shot of the lake; I could see myself there, breathing in the beauty of it all ☺️

We enjoy it there too. Even when we are not catching fish. There is all kinds of activity to watch. Birds, insects, bunnies, flowers, the occasionally bull frog, and even a snake once are there to keep you entertained and marveling at the beauty of nature.
