Wednesday night we had a light frost even though the recorded low for the night was 40 degrees. David checked all the plants. He said the butternut, acorn, and yellow summer squash had all been nipped pretty good. The cherry tomatoes were just slightly nipped. He checked the weather reports for tonight we are under a freeze warning with temperatures falling between 25 and 30 degrees. So he spent the afternoon bringing in the last harvest of the season.
These are the squash.
The small butternuts.
The small acorns.
The small yellow summer squash.
Five gallon bucket of Husky Cherry Red Tomatoes.
My hand to show the size.
The tomatoes spread out on newspaper on the floor of the spare room so they can continue to ripen.
