For Yard Work and Catnip!
It is another gorgeous day. It is a balmy 74 degrees with a slight breeze now and again. Tomorrow’s forecast 63 for a high, 20% chance of precipitation, and wind gusts up to 35 mph. It goes down hill for Tuesday Night: Rain before midnight, then snow. Areas of blowing snow after midnight. Low around 31. Blustery, with a northeast wind 15 to 20 mph increasing to 20 to 25 mph in the evening. Winds could gust as high as 40 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible.
So I took advantage of today’s weather by cleaning up another small patch of the yard. I am working my way slowly down the front of the house. I don’t want to over do it after being sedentary all winter. Sully wanted to spend some time smelling catnip again. 🙂
The before shot of today’s patch.
I raked it all into a pile then sorted out the sticks and twigs.
I took the sticks and dropped them off by the burn barrel.
I took the leaves and added them to the pile in this area of the garden.
The after shot.
Sully was done sniffing catnip and was ready to go in. 🙂
