I Am Still At It, Even After My Computer Was Almost Attacked

I continue to make and add more feature photos. I have 11 that are used for my header picture which are randomized. I have made them for all my “albums” in my Photos Tab and all the videos in the Videos Tab as well as all items in the CARS Tab.

I am now working on the Reviews Tab. I made ones for the 3 reviews I already had pages for. I have added two more reviews. One is for the RV park in Meadview, Arizona and the other is for the park in Kingman, Arizona.

I know it has been four years since we have stayed at any of these parks. I have pictures, I kept a journal of our trip, which I used to post to Facebook as we found wi-fi spots, I used those posts from Facebook to then make posts here.  So I was able to go back and read them to refresh my memories. I also kept any park directories and sales receipts.

I also went back and checked any websites to make sure they were still viable. The RV World site is still good, but they have done a name change and will soon be updating the site, both names take you to the same site for now.

One of the other sites caused a ruckus yesterday when I checked it. My computer starts talking to me saying that Windows Defender has detected the Zeus virus and a little window pops up wanting a password and other stuff and I need to call this 800 number in the next 5 minutes so all my info is not stolen off my computer. I tried closing it and it just kept popping up. I could not even close my browser. I did not type in any info and I did not call the number as I am hard of hearing and we have poor cell reception . I started my virus scanner and then I woke up my son, Nick to come help me.

He opens up the task manager and clicks for my browser to end task. He is able to close my card maker program and eject my giga stick and external flash drive. By this time the virus scanner has finished and has detected no viruses. He and my husband say that this was like a phishing scam on the telephone where they try to get you to give out vital info. David says it may have also been one of those ransom your computer things if I had enter stuff and called the number. Nick then starts the browser again it opens up with all the old session tabs still up. So he goes into the settings to make sure that it is set not to do that if the browser closes unusually and opens a new session. Well he got it all straightened out for me. I calmed down and thanked him for his help.

I HATE when these things happen to my computer. I get all freaked out. After all this rig-a-ma-roll I stayed offline most of the day and just continued making feature photos and writing more RV park reviews.

What are your thoughts? :D
