The beanie is listed on my Ebay.

This is the break down of the items I have on my Ebay.

Hats- 44

Scarves – 9

A pair of Wrist Warmers

Bags- 9

Coin Purse/ Wallet -7

Crochet Sets – 6

Which includes 4 more hats, 3 more scarves, 2 pairs of wrist warmers, a pair of mittens, 3 more bags, and a coin purse.

As you can see I really like to do hats. 😛

I think I should try to do another scarf next, my site is called Skrappy Skarves so I should have more in my inventory. But the hats are so quick to do, so I don’t put them away when I get bored with them. I could finish that pencil case before I start a new project. It would not take long if I just get to it. Then I would have another item knocked of my WIP list. I still have not decided, if I will add more rows to the triangle shawl or just trim it out and add fringe, yet. I have lost intrest in the blue market bag for the moment. So that means the hook holder sits too, since I want to do the liners for both at the same time.

If I do decide to start a scarf, what pattern should I use? Decisions, decisions!

Nick’s MineCraft Creeper Is Finished! — Skrappy Skarves

I finished it on Thursday,11/10/2016. He was very happy with it. He did not want a backing or a finished edge or trim. Here are its final measurements: It is 25 inches long and 26 1/2 Inches wide. He was going to just lay it at the foot of his bed, then he decided to […]

Another Christmas Themed Item

Christmas Sparkle Clutch/Bag/Wallet

I will be sharing my pattern for this in a future blog on Skrappy Skarves , with a photo turorial making a second one. Which I will reblog or share here if I can figure it out LOL. I did not think to share and do a tutorial until I had finished this one. I had to make better sense of my notes then write it out in pattern like form. I also thought photos would help with the steps.

A Cap for me Pap!

Dad and me

My Dad and Me

Continuing with the gift making. I made this cap for my dad.  I hope he will like it.

The Yarn: Red Heart Super Saver Jumbo 10 oz. 100% Acrylic 4 ply worsted

The Colors: 0971 Camouflage and 0360 Cafe Latte (Light Brown)

The Hook: I/9 – 5.50 mm

The Pattern used: Streetwise Brim Hat By: Sharon Mann for Red Heart Yarn

I also Incorporated this pattern: Summer Visor By: Tia Davis Scroll down in the link for Adult Instructions.

I used the stitch pattern for the Summer Visor as I wanted a larger brim. I still used the top and bottom with a plastic canvas insert idea from the streetwise cap pattern.

I just tried it on to see what it looked like on a person. It doesn’t look like a cap just laying on a table. I hope it looks and fits my dad better than me. 🙂

Wrist Warmers for Oldest Brother, Jay

I made them to match his blue beanie. I thought to make him some warmers because he has his computer room set up in the basement. Warmers would be ideal because they leave your fingers free so you are still able to type.  🙂 I think basements are always cold no matter what.
The yarn: Red Heart Super Saver Jumbo 14 oz.
The Colors:
0381 Light Blue and 0387 Soft Navy (Dark Blue)
The Hook: J/10 – 6.00mm

This is the pattern I used:
One-Hour Wrist Warmers By: Jaime Maraia from Crochet Dynamite
http://www.crochetdynamite.com/…/crazy-simple-one-hour-wris…

The pattern called for a G hook. I used the J hook because I crochet tight and the warmers were for a man.
I altered the pattern in the following ways.

I added a cuff to make them longer.
I chained 11 sc in second chain from hook * sc across row ch 1 repeat from * for 26 rows. Sl st ends together. Work sc in each of the row ends for first round of the warmer. I worked the pattern in reverse as it starts with the palm and I was starting at the wrist. I worked 2 rounds sc then 2 rounds in hdc. The final round was reverse single crochet. I single crocheted around the thumb hole.

Christmas Additions to the Yarn Stash and a Couple of WIPs

Nick got me yarn for Christmas!

I have been wanting to do another scarf as  the name of my Ebay and Facebook page is Skrappy Skarves.

Links to both can be found in the blog roll.

I wanted to try something different. So when I came across this pattern I knew I had to give it a go.

Purple hooded scarf

I will post better photos when it is finished.

The other in progress item is some more cat cowls. (Yes, I was getting bored with the scarf.)

They are quick, easy to do, and it would get rid of a lot of the small scrap balls I have.

My daughter has two cats so I thought I would make some for them too.

I also was thinking  I could make a bunch and sell three together in a lot on Ebay.

We shall see.

A fiished orange one. The other is a red white and blue variegated I think I wll trim with blue.

A finished orange one. The other is a red white and blue variegated I think I will trim with blue.
