I Took A Walk Down The County Road

 

I decided to try to take this short walk a couple of times a week. I walked south down to the little bridge that goes over the creek. As I got closer to the bridge there are a group of pine trees. I was lucky enough to see a pine cone fall to the ground. I got to the bridge and was looking around at the creek with all the plant life around it.

These two huge cottonwood trees caught my attention.

 I then turned around, I was now headed north up the road, and headed back home.

As I got closer to the house I took this photo.

It looked so picturesque.

A Walk in Mono Chrome and Color

I set out on this walk with a few of these shots already in mind.

Some I just found along the way.

This was my favorite from this walk along with the color shot.

I set out on my walk mostly to ger a pic of this as farm equipment looks cool in mono chrome. 🙂

These little flowers were on the bank of the creek. Which runs under the little bridge down the road.

This is just a knarled old log laying on the slope of the ditch. It was probably a long ago fallen pine tree

This patch of flowers have some pokey prickly protection.

This weedy slope of the ditch caught my eye.

I like the color shot cause you can see the silveryness of that one weed. I think that is what caught my eye the most in this shot.

A Short Walk

Early Friday afternoon  (8-7-2015) I took a short walk along the county road to the intersection to the highway.

The Morning Glory

This pretty pink morning glory was stretching out of the ditch.
