A Nice Day for A Photo Shoot

It was so nice yesterday, I decided to do a photo shoot for two new hats. There was just enough breeze to play with my hair, no wind machines needed. lol I used my usual backgrounds of the two trees and the bush. Today though I decided to use BOB as a background he was getting lonely as no one visited him all this winter. πŸ˜›

A Scarf for Martin

Marty really likes scarfs so I decided to make him one that matched a hat I already had made him.

I decide on this one.

1-martins-camo-and-orange-chevron-beanie

I have not tried to make a chevron stitch project yet. I thought this would be a good project to try stitch rather than a whole afghan. The beanie is actually v-stitches strategically placed to form a chevron pattern so it doesn’t really count as a chevron.

Another Christmas Themed Item

Christmas Sparkle Clutch/Bag/Wallet

I will be sharing my pattern for this in a future blog on Skrappy Skarves , with a photo turorial making a second one. Which I will reblog or share here if I can figure it out LOL. I did not think to share and do a tutorial until I had finished this one. I had to make better sense of my notes then write it out in pattern like form. I also thought photos would help with the steps.

Kay’s Mrs. Claus Hat

Last year I made Martin andΒ  Justin Santa Hats. (How I altered that pattern for Martin can be found here). I asked Kay if she would like one too. She said that she needed to have a Mrs. Clause Hat. I had already made a hat that I thought the pattern would make a perfect Mrs. Claus hat. I showed that hat to Kay.

She said, “That would work great in red and white of course. Oh, and I want a pom-pom on the top.”

So this is what I came up with. πŸ™‚
