Now you may be wondering why we stopped in Grants. We had not really traveled that far from Milan. David wanted to find a stop earlier in the day so we could get to bed early. He did not want to be going through Albuquerque during any of the rush hours for going to or getting off of work. His plan was to get up around 3 am to accomplish this.
We saw this nice little park and pulled in. We went into the office which was in the process of getting a remodel. I didn’t mind the mess. It should me that they were actively making improvements to their park.
The desk clerk was friendly and apologized for the mess too. He made sure to mention that the wi-fi password and restroom codes were on the receipt he gave us. He showed us a map pointing out our site and the locations of the restrooms/showers.
We again got a pull thru site. David hates backing in. We both made use of the showers which were clean and hot. Then we did a bit on the internets, ate supper, then hit the hay.
This was a nice clean park with friendly staff.
I visited their website before writing up this review. Lots of changes have occurred since we stayed. They are still making improvements to the park. There is also a micro brewery on site now. How neat is that!
